priyana

priyana is an 18-year old singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, she is proud to be half South-Asian and an advocate for mental health. As a passionate artist and musician, priyana has been playing piano and singing since the ages of three and eight, respectively, and is self-taught on the guitar and ukulele. A two-time International Songwriting Competition Semi-Finalist and Finalist award winner in the pop category of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, priyana just released her debut album little thoughts on her 18th birthday, July 27. After finding success on four singles from the album with a total of over 30,000 streams on spotify, listeners can now get a taste of priyana’s experimental vibe from her debut album. Drawing inspiration from Billie Eilish, Phoebe Bridgers, and Conan Gray, priyana attributes her unique writing style to her time spent listening to these artists.
